Blend all the ingredients in a blender with ice.
Pour the blender content into a large glass or Hurricane glass.
Serve with a straw.
Decorate with a slice of pineapple and a cocktail cherry.
Originally, this name implied fresh pineapple juice, which was served strained.
According to one version, the cocktail was created in 1957 by bartender Ramon Marrero in Puerto Rico at the Caribbean Hilton.
The cocktail was included in the IBA codification in 1961.
