Vana Tallinn (meaning 'Old Tallinn' in Estonian) is a dark brown strong rum-based liqueur developed in the 1960s and produced by the Estonian company Liviko. The liqueur is sweet with a hint of Jamaican rum, spiced with various natural spices, including citrus oil, cinnamon, and vanilla.

There are three main types of this liqueur: 40, 45, and 50 degrees. Other varieties of this alcoholic beverage: Vana Tallinn Winter Spice - 35%; Vana Tallinn Heritage Edition - 40%; Vana Tallinn Cream - 16%; Vana Tallinn Chocolate Cream - 16%; Vana Tallinn Coffee Cream - 16%.

Vana Tallinn is widely available in all Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), as well as in Russia and Finland. Although it is advertised as an ancient and traditional Estonian drink, production actually started only in September 1960.

The liqueur is recommended to be consumed neat, without additions, or with coffee. Without the hot drink, the liqueur is consumed neat with the addition of ice. Vana Tallinn can be used as a cocktail additive.
