Vodka is one of the most popular strong alcoholic drinks for cocktails.
The first written mentions of the word "vodka" are found in Polish and Russian sources of the 15th century, as a medical and cosmetic preparation. In the modern sense, this term is used from the 19th century, when the technical revolution led to the appearance of the rectification column. This device allowed to produce alcohol with a strength of up to 96%. Further, the technology of vodka production was developed, which has come to our times virtually unchanged.
Vodka is produced by mixing grain, potato or grain-potato alcohol with clean filtered water. Then the mixture is passed through a carbon filter. If necessary, additional treatment with other types of filters is used.
