Gin fizz

Soda Water 80 ml

Gin 45 ml

Lemon Juice 30 ml

Sugar syrup 10 ml

Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice, except for the soda water. Strain into a cooled highball. Top up with soda water. Garnish with a lemon slice.

"Fizz" cocktails first appeared in the late 19th century, in 1887, when the bartender's guide "Bartender's Guide" was printed by the "father" of American mixology - Jerry Thomas (Jerry Thomas). It was most popular in America between 1900 and 1940.
