Bramble

Pour gin and syrup into an old-fashion glass with cracked ice.

Add lemon juice.

Stir.

Pour blackcurrant liqueur in a circular motion from the top.

Garnish with a lemon slice and two blackcurrants.

The 'Bramble' cocktail hasn't been around for long: its recipe was invented by legendary bartender Dick Bradsell of one of the British pubs in the 1980s.
