Egg a bit

Mix gin, grenadine and egg white in a shaker with ice.

Shake very well.

Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.



The exact origin of the recipe is unknown. Likely, the cocktail was named after a Broadway musical of the same name in 1911 or after the nickname of its starring actress Hazel Dawn - "Pink Lady". By the 30s, the cocktail had spread widely in Europe and the USA.
